Welcome! I'd like to take a moment to thank you for visiting
our website. Since the opening of our neighborhood tavern
on December 18, 1982 I have had the opportunity to meet
and visit with many of our patrons and
I look forward to seeing you there.

Reservations
The GIN MILL RESTAURANT and TAVERN operates on a
first come first served basis; therefore,
reservations are not taken for lunch or dinner

Designated Driver Program
At the GIN MILL RESTAURANT and TAVERN
any person that chooses to be a "designated driver"
with a group of patrons at a table or at the bar
will receive complimentary coffee, tea, or any
soft drinks or juice for the duration of their stay.


REVIEWS

The GIN MILL RESTAURANT and TAVERN
on San Mateo was the first Albuquerque food establishment
to receive the prestigious "GOLD STANDARD DINING" award
for excellence in food safety.
"GOLD STANDARD DINING" is a program which promotes
higher levels of food safety, dining standards, and
operation procedures.
In order for a restaurant to receive this award
they must technically prove their commitment to food safety
through training, education, and by implementing
quality controls such as
"Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point" (HACCP),
a high quality food safety procedure.
The award program was instituted in conjunction with
the New Mexico Restaurant Association,
Rio Grande Valley Chefs' Federation, and
the City of Albuquerque Environmental Health Department.
